Long Easter Weekend

So my li'l man and I have been sick for the past three days now. Not a fun way to spend a long holiday weekend. The LO had a fever since Thursday night that fluctuated between 102-105. He was up every hour practically from Friday evening until Saturday morning. Plus he was super super extra needy and wanted mama to just sit by him the whole time. That worked out mostly b/c I was feeling sick too.
Thankfully, his fever finally went away on it's own tonight before bedtime. I'm praying that it stays away. What we are now left with, it seems, is a nasty annoying cough. I hope to get him in to see his pediatrician tomorrow. Just to make sure we're not overlooking something more serious.
Despite all the fever, he did at least mostly behaved and played as usual. He laid down and watched a lot of TV too but overall he was in good spirits. DH said that the little guy even seemed to be chattier than usual. I would have I agree.
I'm pretty bummed that we missed out on having a nice Easter weekend. On the plus side, I did get to watch all of season 1 and most of season 2 of Duck Dynasty. Heeheehee. Seriously, that show had me in stitches several times this past weekend. I sincerely recommend catching this show if you haven't already.
