P365 - Day 8

8/365= mmm...cookies

These were cookies that were leftover from HC on Friday evening.  It was our first time having a JCS program for the kiddos and it went well.  :)

It's beautiful outside today...but it's very very chilly.  I think that may be my P365/Day 9 post.  That or the picture of Dennis' bday dinner later today.  Haven't decided just yet.

I've cleaned house a bit today, did some laundry, caught a couple of episodes of True Blook from Season 1.  Now I'm back on my scraproom and am going to attempt to get some scrapping done today.  hopefully a card or 2 or 10 :)

Shoe lusting lately...so I've been wanting a pair of tall black Ugg-like shoes.

I wanted the actually Uggs - but DH absolutely refuses to get those for me b/c he just can't justify $180 for some boots that I'll only wear occasionally (so he thinks). Of course these are boots that I wouldn't buy myself either.  But would've gladly accepted if they were given to me as a gift.  heeheehee...

 I guess my dreams of a pair of Manolo Blahnik black class pumps for $575 is out of the question too...

...unless we hit the lottery. LOL  :-P

Anyhoo - i'm really just in the market for some flat black cold weather boots.  i've have a pair of sand colored short Emu boots that I got at my girlfriend's annual Christmas exchange a few years ago  from Evonne (here's that pic from our 2004 Christmas exchange)

must be this crazy colder than usual weather that has me scouring the net for a decent deal on some black sheepskin boots.  oh well. enough of that.
